Origins, Evolution, Milestones
Our success story began in 1998 with the founding of Rhytemper Kunststofftechnik GmbH in Ottendorf-Okrilla, Saxony. Even at that time, the RHYTEMPER® name stood for innovative solutions in mold temperature control—a hallmark of technological excellence that continues to define our products today.
A major turning point came in 2008, when the company became part of the renowned ONI Group. Integration into ONI-Wärmetrafo GmbH, headquartered in Lindlar, North Rhine-Westphalia, marked not only a strategic new beginning but also provided access to a strong network of technology, expertise, and international market reach. Founded in 1983 by Wolfgang Oehm, ONI-Wärmetrafo GmbH is considered a pioneer in energy-optimized industrial systems. As a multi-award-winning company, ONI is one of the leading drivers of sustainable production solutions worldwide. This innovative strength has since become an integral part of our own product development.
Following the acquisition of new facilities in Großröhrsdorf—offering around 840 m² of production and office space—ONI Rhytemper entered a new phase of growth. However, the dynamic expansion soon required additional capacity. In 2017, the company moved into a significantly larger building with 1,350 m² to meet rising market demand. The next major expansion followed shortly thereafter: In September 2023, we opened a modern, substantially enlarged production and administration facility with a total area of approximately 3,400 m². Today, this infrastructure enables us to respond to customer requirements worldwide with maximum flexibility, efficiency, and manufacturing quality.
