- Manual dexterity and technical understanding
- Abstract, logical thinking (analysing functional relationships)
- Mathematical thinking (calculating electrical quantities and material requirements)

- Good hand-eye coordination (e.g. cutting pipes to the required dimensions)
- Text comprehension (reading and understanding technical documents such as troubleshooting or operating instructions)
- Good communication skills (advising customers on conversion and optimisation options)
- Ability to work in a team, diligence and systematic approach to work

- At least intermediate school leaving certificate
- Good physical condition (some work outdoors in all seasons; lifting heavy objects)
- Organisational skills and diligence (allocating loading and unloading times and storage locations
- checking delivered goods for completeness and integrity)
- Spatial awareness (stowing goods in the warehouse, taking into account the type of goods
- their nature, volume and weight)
- Good hand-eye coordination
- Prudence and sense of responsibility (operating conveyor systems or lifting equipment)
- Ability to work in a team and systematic approach to work
Training content
- Receiving and checking goods
- Operating transport equipment and conveyor systems
- Picking, packing and preparing goods for dispatch
- Checking accompanying documents and creating them using the ERP system
- Checking stocks, carrying out inventories and stock valuations
- Documenting warehouse processes and movements in the ERP system
- Performing economic analyses of the warehouse
- Optimising internal transport
- Checking the effects of the choice of legal form on contractual relationships
- Getting to know international transport routes and economic centres
- Loading and shipping goods in a cost- and customer-oriented manner
Industrial clerk (m/f/d)

- Subject-specific higher education entrance qualification (study in a relevant degree programme)

- Completed state-regulated vocational training*

Course content
The programme takes a holistic approach to business management in companies from a generalist perspective. The aim is to enable graduates to analyse key commercial and management challenges and develop solutions. In this way, you will directly support entrepreneurial decision-making.
