Targeted High-Pressure Cooling for Demanding Cores
Conventional cooling circuits often reach their limits when cooling cores with small cross-sections. Narrow cooling channels, unfavourable channel routing and high heat input make reliable heat removal difficult. RHYTEMPER CorePulse therefore supplies up to 32 individual circuits at constant high pressure and supports reliable flow even through deep cooling channels with small diameters. This enables critical temperature peaks to be reduced in a targeted manner, helps prevent die damage and increases process stability.
Each individual circuit is monitored for temperature and flow. If required, the flow rate of each individual circuit can also be checked manually. The integrated leakage test analyses pressure and flow behaviour, detects leaks and can automatically withdraw shot release in the event of critical deviations. Defined machine signals within the safety chain help protect the die casting die against consequential damage.
CorePulse M and CorePulse L provide two performance sizes for different requirements. Both systems can supply up to 32 individual circuits and up to four distributors. This enables the high-pressure cooling system to be adapted specifically to different core cross-sections and required flow rates.
