ONI Temperiertechnik Rhytemper® GmbH, a subsidiary of ONI-Wärmetrafo GmbH in Lindlar, based in Großröhrsdorf, stands for modern, energy-efficient and high-precision temperature control solutions – developed and manufactured in Germany. It is considered a leading company in the field of multi-channel temperature control in both the plastic injection moulding and metal die-casting industries. Thanks to its wide range of highly efficient multi-channel temperature control systems, our company has a unique position in the global market. Our systems improve product quality, shorten cycle times and sustainably reduce energy consumption in industrial processes.
Through consistent further development and optimisation of our system technology, as well as the dedication of our customer-oriented and motivated team, we have secured our long-term market leadership in the field of temperature control technology and impressively demonstrated why so many customers rely on the performance of our products.
Our customer base includes well-known companies such as the AE Group, Audi, BMW, BOGE, Bosch-Siemens, Faurecia, Grohe, Johnson Controls/Yanfang, Liebherr, Magna, Polytec, Röchling, VW, ZF and many more.
Origin, development and milestones
Our success story began in 1998 with the founding of Rhytemper Kunststofftechnik GmbH in Ottendorf-Okrilla, Saxony. Even back then, the name RHYTEMPER® stood for innovative solutions in the field of mould temperature control – a trademark that still stands for technological excellence today.
A significant turning point came in 2008 when the company became part of the renowned ONI Group. The integration into ONI-Wärmetrafo GmbH, headquartered in Lindlar (North Rhine-Westphalia), not only meant a strategic new beginning, but also access to a strong network of technology, experience and international market access. ONI-Wärmetrafo GmbH – founded in 1983 by Wolfgang Oehm – is considered a pioneer in energy-optimised plant technology. As a multi-award-winning company, ONI is one of the most important drivers of sustainable production solutions in industry. This innovative strength has since been directly incorporated into our products and developments.
After acquiring new premises in Großröhrsdorf with around 840 m² of production and administrative space, ONI Rhytemper made a fresh start. However, dynamic growth soon required more space: in 2017, the company moved to a significantly larger building with 1,350 m² to meet the increasing demand. The next major expansion was not long in coming: in September 2023, we moved into a modern, significantly expanded production and administration hall with a total area of around 3,400 m². This means that we now have an infrastructure that allows us to respond flexibly, efficiently and with the highest quality to customer requests worldwide.

Our innovative spirit and economic stability have been recognised with numerous awards:
- 2008 – Innovation Award from the Euroregion Neiße, in recognition of technological pioneering spirit.
- 2016 – Nomination and award as finalist in the Grand Prize for Medium-Sized Businesses from the Oskar Patzelt Foundation.
- 2018 – Winner of the Grand Prize for Medium-Sized Businesses, one of the highest economic honours for medium-sized companies in Germany.
- 2023 – Awarded the badge of honour of the Grand Prize for Medium-Sized Businesses as additional recognition of exceptional achievements and sustainable corporate development.
